Our Story

Honeybee Preschool was founded in 2013 as a dream for our founder Sara Dale who wanted to provide a unique personalized experience for children ages 3-6. With a lifetime of Preschool director and lead teacher experience she set up Honeybee to be the culmination of her favorite classrooms and Montessori learning values. She has successfully lead Honeybee Preschool and created the wonderful learning environment we know and love today for the last seven years. She is finally ready to enjoy her retirement with her amazing husband Michael and her wonderful cat knowing that Honeybee will be well taken care of in the years to come.

While a parent at Honeybee Preschool, Talyn Green the current owner, was able to fully understand and appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that had been put in to create such a unique environment. After running her own daycare from 2014-2019 in rural Nome, Alaska, Talyn had always dreamed of expanding into a full service center. With a love for caring for children she cultivated over her years in daycare work, as well as raising her own little family, she felt ready to step back into the classroom again and ensure Honeybee Preschool was able to live and grow as our dedicated founder was ready to retire.

With an eye on the future, and the help of our wonderful staff Honeybee will continue to provide the same level of service enjoyed by the families of our adorable alumni. We will always strive to provide amazing learning experiences for your little one and help them realize their strengths to grow into the most successful people they can be.
